History
Spider-Man shared a similar history to his Prime Universe counterpart until Iron Man was infected and ultimately succumbed to the Extremis virus before the Civil War. After the Stamford incident the government passed the "Super-Hero Registration Act", and Spider-Man was one of the many heroes who met to discuss how they should react to the act. He decided to side with Captain America and was among the many attacked by Gyrich's Sentinels. He died saving Patriot from one of their attacks.[1]
