—Spider-Man[source]This should be a happy ending. I beat the villain, brought a family back together, and got the girl. But it's not that easy. Being Spider-Man always comes with a price, and today that price was a steep one. What keeps me going are Uncle Ben's words: with great power comes great responsibility. In the end, people need heroes. As tough as it gets sometimes, I have to fight on. And the best way to honor the people I love is to never stop being... your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!
History
Peter Parker's life reflected that of his Earth-96283 counterpart up until the death of Uncle Ben. He was raised by his uncle Ben Parker and aunt May Parker like a son. Peter was best friends with Harry Osborn, and had a crush on Mary Jane Watson. On a field trip to a science lab, Peter was bitten by a genetically altered spider, which endowed him with spider-like abilities. Hoping to improve his family's financial situation, Peter decided to use his new powers to earn money.
In his last conversation with Uncle Ben, the two had an argument, and Peter subsequently took out his frustration on Bone Saw McGraw, whom he faced in a promotional wrestling event and easily defeated. However, when the fight promoter cheated him, Peter didn't think it was his problem when he was robbed shortly afterwards, and allowed the burglar, Spike, to run past him without intervening. Unfortunately, the burglar subsequently shot and killed Uncle Ben during a carjacking, prompting Peter to pursue him as Spider-Man to get revenge.
Peter hunted down his uncle's killer, Spike, a member of the Skulls Gang to a shipping warehouse. After fighting his way through the Skulls, he eventually fought Spike and realised that he was the same man that had robbed the fight promoter earlier, however Spike ended up backing away from Parker causing himself to trip and fall out of a window. Sometime after, Peter followed Uncle Ben's advice and used his newfound powers as the Amazing Spider-Man and started working at the Daily Bugle.[2]Attributes
