History

At some point in the past, Spider-Man, along with all the other non-mutant superheroes, had retired to the Moon. They returned to Earth after Magneto recruited them as a last ditch effort to combat the Sentinels, but his true plan was to get the heroes killed in order to bring back the animosity between humans and mutants. He was killed during the fight with the Sentinels.
