While at a science exhibit, Peter Parker was about to be bitten by a radioactive spider. However, one of his classmates called him to look at something, causing Peter to walk to his classmate, and the spider to land on the ground and be stepped on by one of the scientists. Peter grew up to be angry and resentful towards the world around him, turning his anger inward and became an unfulfilled computer game designer.

  • The comic reviewer Chad Nevett compared this version of Peter Parker to Doc Ock, saying that "Like the best villains, Peter's enemies have always been twisted versions of himself."[1]
  • Peter Parker is seen reading the books Atlas Shrugged and Nineteen Eighty-Four.
