History

Spider-Man attempted to stop a violent anti-mutant protest outside of Avengers Mansion. Realising he couldn't handle the situation, Spider-Man tried to flee but the crowd stopped him and violently beat him to death while he chose not to fight back.

According to Wolverine's account, it took an army of Sentinels to bring Spider-Man down, and that he died in his arms.

Notes

• Spider-Man has two conflicting accounts of his death. The account mentioned in Paradise X Vol 1 2 lines up with the flashback sequence in X-Men Vol 1 141, which heavily implies Spider-Man was killed by Sentinels.
