History

Spider-Man's skeleton

The past of Peter Parker mirrored that of his Earth-616 counterpart until the events of the Secret Wars. After the heroes and villains were stranded on Battleworld, Peter Parker was never able to remove the black suit. Eventually, it acted as skin over his skeleton.

Notes

• The Symbiote consumed Peter's body, leaving only a skeleton. Spider-Man can not live without the Symbiote.
• Although Peter's mind hasn't been possessed by the symbiote, he refers to himself as "we" because the symbiote is a living being.

Trivia

• Symbiote Spider-Man was one of the few versions of Spider-Man who did not take part in Spider-Verse, possibly due to the fact that (according to Nick Lowe) symbiotes don't count as totems.
