History
Spider-Ramen used his power to generate multiple bowls of ramen to use as webbing and to feed the homeless.[1]
Spider-Ramen was eventually asked by either Miguel O'Hara of Earth-2099 or Anya Corazon of Earth-616 to join the Spider-Society which he accepted amongst others.[2]
Later, Potnoodle would receive a call from Madame Web to come to the Spider-Society and when Miles Morales asked about lunch he would be all to willing to give up a bowl of ramen. When Miles rejected it he would ask what Miles ate to which he told Potnoodle he'd eaten a sandwich. Potnoodle was among the members who wondered why Web, 616-Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, and Arana hadn't arrived only to be blind-sided by the Sinister Squadron. Potnoodle was presumably amongst the captured and would join the Spider-Society in their fight against the Squadron when freed only for it to be revealed that evil May Madame Web had captured the most important members of the Web of Life and Destiny. [3]Notes
- Spider-Ramen originated as a "Spidersona"—a type of fan-created character inspired by the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Marvel Comics contacted some fans to create new Spidersonas specifically to be showcased in Spider-Verse (Vol. 3).[4] Spider-Ramen was introduced in the Spider-Verses profile back-up feature of Spider-Verse (Vol. 3) #5.
- Creator Steve Poole added some backstory to Peter Potnoodle in a twitter post
