History
Petrod was a soldier who worked sentry duty within Antarctic Atlantis in the 1940s under the command of Emperor Thakorr. He guarded his homeland during a period in which Prince Namor was waging war against the Nazis during World War II.[1] His current status is unknown at this time.

Petrod has abilities common to those of the Homo mermanus race, namely the ability to breath underwater, survive ocean pressures and temperatures, as well as see in the dark murky depths. He also has above average strength and a lifespan longer than those of normal humans.
Weaknesses
Like most of people of his kind, Petrod can only survive above water for only a few minutes.
