History

Mitch is Buck Cashman's hunting dog, at some point the Phage symbiote bonded with him.

When Carnage approached Phage through the Symbiote Hive-Mind to recruit him for his Hive, Phage succumbed to his influence and attacked Buck, who severely attacked him, then Phage unbonded from him and joined Buck. After a while, Mitch went with Cashman, under Phage's control, into Alchemax. Following Cashman being defenestrated by Agony, the Phage symbiote separated from him and rebonded to Mitch, returning to Washington D.C. to take part in Carnage's coup.

When Carnage launched his assault on the gathered crowd, Phage took on a more humanoid form and went on a feeding frenzy until it was confronted by Sleeper, who held it at bay until a squad of Guardsmen arrived and subdued it. The Phage symbiote was subsequently separated from its host by Silence and Dr. Steven, and was placed into containment at Alchemax's astrobiology laboratory alongside its siblings.
