History
The Jump Drives are the crucial component of spacefaring vessels that enable them to use the Jump Points to instantly travel between places in galaxy that are many light-years away from one another.[3]
A spaceship however is not required for a Jump Drive to function. With the coordinates entered correctly and activated properly, simply holding on to a handle on a Jump Drive can teleport a person both to another location on the same planet[4] and across space.[5]
