History
Phillip Carlisle participated in the Korean War. He married Melissa Bowen and so is the step-father of Tandy Bowen, the alter-ego of Dagger. However, unlike Melissa, he cares for Tandy and loves her as his daughter despite her rejections. After Tandy ran away, he did everything to try to find her.
