History
There were two attempts to suck the Phoenix Force inside the Phoenix Cage, one by War Machine to whom the Beast had adapted the armor in order to be able to approach the Phoenix, but although at first it seemed to be successful, when the Phoenix pushed the attack, War Machine's armor was damaged and James severely injured, so Captain Britain tried, but since the Phoenix Cage was calibrated to the power supply of the War Machine Armor, his attempt also failed, destroying the Cage itself.[1]

Phoenix Cage was an apparatus built by the Beast in collaboration with Captain Britain, which was supposed to imprison the Phoenix Force inside it after it was sucked into it.
