History

Phorcys was one of the spawn of the Elder God Set. He was a demon and a primeval sea god.

Because Gaia forbid Phorcys from exercising his god-given right of sinking ships to sustain himself, he created the Sirens by mating with Ceto to bypass this restriction. Made in the image of Aphrodite, the Sirens use their song to bring Phorcys the meat it craved. The two also birthed Zirnitra, Scylla, Echidna, Graeae, and the Gorgons.
