History

Little is detailed about Quicksilver’s life before the zombie plague arrived on Earth-2149, however it can be presumed that it followed much the same path as Quicksilver of Earth-616.

Presumably, Quicksilver receives a call from Nick Fury to join the resistance aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, and leaves to join them.

With the extremely varied bunch all assembled on the Helicarrier, Nick explained how serious he believes the situation to be; that it was the end of the world. He also explained that whatever the histories of those assembled, they were all on the same side.

Quicksilver was part of the group sent back to Earth to battle the zombies.[1] When he witnessed what appeared to be Black Cat advancing on an unzombified Scarlet Witch, he rushed to save her and picked her up; as he fled the battle, "Scarlet Witch" revealed herself as the zombie Mystique, and promptly bit Pietro on the neck. After being infected, he used his speed to travel around the world infecting other countries, and was apparently a major reason why the infection could not be contained before it became a global threat.[2]

Quicksilver is later seen as part of the zombie masses.[3] After the zombies who consumed Galactus left the Earth, Quicksilver joined the zombie Kingpin to please his hunger.

Quicksilver was later killed by Machine Man who was trying to escape the Fisk after he destroyed the cloning vats the zombies were using for food.[4]

    • Isotope E Exposure: This substance increased Quicksilver's speed to supersonic levels. He was able to run across the Atlantic Ocean during this augmentation.
