History

Origin[]

According to Ian McNee, the Pink Mink was presumably a fabric enchanted by a Wyrdling (Weaver mage).

McNee was unsure it truly existed, and had heard some wild stories about it,[1] while it was also considered a legendary medieval creature.[2]

Modern Age[]

The Pink Mink was captured by scientists at the Canadian Institute, who found it somehow linked to the mutant X-Gene phenomenon.

The Pink Mink was stolen from the Institute by the Collector's agents. The Institute hired Wolverine to retrieved it, and he soon confronted the Collector. The Mink was freed in the battle and summoned the Pink Lady, and they escaped together. The Mink then used extremely low-level mutants it psychically summoned to Toronto to create the Pink Psychos.

Wolverine teamed up with Doop, but both were made to believe the other was hallucinating by the Pink Lady. From Pink Mink scholar Professor van Hosen, they learned that exotics killer Hunter Joe, hired by the Institute as well, had abducted the Mink and the Lady.

Doop and Wolverine found Joe, who was then killed by Pink Psychos. They were rewarded with a night of passion respectively with the Mink and the Lady. The Mink reproduced asexually, allowing both the Lady to keep it and Wolverine to return the copy to the Institute.[2]
