History

At some point after Sinister launched his plot to seize control of the Quiet Council, Colossus was resurrected with his DNA tainted by Sinister and the council embarked on a quest to conquer the world. Within ten years, they had secured their grip on the planet, and managed to undo Sinister's top-level control imprints, granting them a greater level of self-determination. They defied their "creator", choosing to pursue war against the interstellar empires rather than focus on Sinister's goal of becoming a Dominion.[1]

Within a hundred years, the council had all but destroyed all interstellar competition.[2] Nearly 900 years later, mutants were the undisputed rulers of the galaxy. With their enemies long since destroyed, they instead turned on each other, leading to the creation of at least a million Sinister-derived gene polities.

Colossus ruled one of these polities, serving as the "bulwark of materialism" for his Space Soviets. His Colossus citadels stood watch on the borders of the Limbic Infernality, the result of his sister Magik attempting to bring Limbo into normal space.[3]

Colossus was presumably killed when Sinister activated a kill-switch, killing every mutant in the galaxy.[4]
