Overview[]

In most realities in the Multiverse the planet Pluto is incapable of sustaining life, in particular on Earth-616 the planet Pluto has been claimed to have been home to many alien races who claim to originate from that planet. However, like many other aliens who visited Earth, these aliens may have pretended to have come from Pluto in order to confuse the people of Earth as to where their invasions where coming from.

Earth-616[]

The earliest recorded instance of aliens claiming to come from the Pluto was in the 1950s when a group of men calling themselves the Fatalists came to Earth to try and sell a destructive death ray to a world government. They were thwarted by the Sub-Mariner and apparently were forced to return home by their leaders.[1]

Several years later, another race calling themselves Plutonians had a plan to invade Earth. They were going to give out free television sets to an unsuspecting public while disguised as human beings and use them to hypnotize Earth's population. Once this was accomplished, Pluto's forces were to land on Earth and capture all of the hypnotized masses without so much as firing a shot. They then planned to make Earth a satellite of Pluto for all time.

The Plutonians first attempted to test their hypnotizing televisions by giving one to an unsuspecting couple living in an apartment building. The couple were, in fact, helplessly hypnotized, but were saved when the building's grouchy superintendent found the television's antenna on the roof and snapped it off. Believing that their equipment had failed, the Plutonians left Earth, believing that humanity had found a way to counter their scheme.[2]
