The Planes of Pohldahk were a series of worlds an/or dimensions.[2]
Pohldahk's name was sometimes invoked for power,[3] such as to summon the Planes of Pohldahk spell,[4] or for power to breach away from a dimension.[5]

- Pohldahk's nature was stated in the Demons' profile in Marvel Zombies: The Book of Angels, Demons & Various Monstrosities #1 (September, 2007) (as well as in the profile's update in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z #3 (July, 2008) and in the appendix "Magic" of Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z #7 (March, 2009)) to be unknown, and that it could be a non-magical being, such as an ancestor or an historical figure, or even a location, thought it was mentioned as "the planes of Pohldahk" in its first mention in Doctor Strange (Vol. 2) #27 (February, 1978), and its first appearance in Doctor Strange (Vol. 2) #65 (June, 1984).
