History
The Pointe was a Krakoan Black site that was part of an island chain -- which also included Danger Island and Transit -- and was located off the coast of Africa in the mid-Atlantic, south of the Azores and west of the Canary Islands.[1]
The Pointe secretly housed Cradle Four,[2] as well as served as the operational headquarters of the mutant intelligence agency known as X-Force.[3]
When Beast went rogue and left to wage his own private war for Krakoa's interests, he transformed the Pointe into a colossal humanoid automaton, the skull-shaped head of which housed Beast's new Weapons of X.[4] Walking on the bottom of the ocean, the Pointe became Beast's undetectable mobile base, from which he would attack anyone he perceived as enemies of Krakoa.[5]Points of Interest
