Synopsis for "The Armageddon Game"

Misty and Colleen travel to Khotain, a Middle East country to retrieve documents. The documents heighten tensions between two Middle East countries: Khotain and neighboring Dhakran. Misty and Colleen are captured, accused of spying, and set up for execution. Back in Manhattan, Cage and Iron Fist search for Doombringer who fell from a building last issue. They do not find him. They do search Manhattan and uncover the corporation that sent Misty and Colleen on their mission. They capture their un-named leader and take him with them to Khotain.

Unbeknownst to Cage and Fist, Doombringer has disguised himself as the plane's pilot. He follows the leader, Cage and Iron Fist into Khotain. Cage and Iron Fist enter the city defeat the guards. They discover that Doombringer is on the scene and is making his way to Khotain's missile base, killing troops as he goes. At the launch site, Cage and Iron Fist see Prince Jiefya and the Mahdi fighting. Doombringer is setting the missiles to launch at the United States. Danny uses the power of the Iron Fist to disable the launch. Doombringer runs into the silo, but is killed by a non-nuclear blast from the missiles.

Solicit Synopsis

Two famous villains - and a strange locale! When Doctor Octopus takes over the laboratory of Dr. Cut Connors, Doc Connors must turn to Power Man and Iron Fist for help! Can they arrive on the scene before Doc Connors becomes...the Lizard! Written by Archie Goodwin and penciled by Greg La Rocque.
