Synopsis for "...And An Ill Wind Shall Come!"

Jeryn Hogarth has invited members of the press to the offices of Heroes for Hire, Incorporated. As the press is interviewing the heroes, an aggressive man shows up and tries to attack Iron Fist but he defuses the situation and refuses to fight. Jeryn is flustered with Iron Fist later saying that the man was hired and he should've shown off his fighting skills. While they talk, Bonnie Kaye arrives to their office and hires Iron Fist to be her escort to her ten-year high school reunion.

At the reunion, a man named Dave Cannon arrives and Bonnie pleads with Iron Fist to confront him because of his obsession with her. After a brief conflict, Dave Cannon flees and returns wearing the costume of Whirlwind and causes substantial destruction. Iron Fist manages to subdue him by removing his helmet but before he can act further, is smashed by a chair wielded by a guilt-stricken Bonnie Kaye.

Back at the apartment of Misty Knight, Iron Fist tells Misty and Power Man that he plans to hunt down Whirlwind and bring him to justice while Luke decides to make a trip to Harlem. Iron Fist, having arrived at Dave Cannon's neighborhood asks the locals for help locating him but is sent to various dead-end locations. In Harlem, Power Man defuses a conflict at a grocery store between the owner and a local kid but scolds Harmony Young for calling the police because of their heavy-handed nature and the idea that the people would prefer to handle matters like this themselves.

Iron Fist finally locates the apartment of Dave Cannon where a local kid warns him that Iron Fist is searching for him. Before he can don his Whirlwind outfit, Iron Fist breaks through the window and knocks him unconscious. When he exits the apartment carrying Dave, other locals confront and fight him despite being outmatched. Iron Fist is surprised at their loyalty due to his criminal nature but they suggest that he is cut from similar cloth. As he starts tiring out, the locals are finally scared away when Power Man arrives on the scene and praises Iron Fist for his prowess. Iron Fist is bothered that his fighting skills are the only thing he really has without having the friendship and experiences he has recently observed.
