The Preordained is the servant of both the Living Tribunal and Oblivion. She functions as an intermediary similar to the In-Betweener and Continuum.[1][2]

The Living Tribunal and Oblivion appointed the Preordained to serve them. She mediates between the two, as the Tribunal and Oblivion do not like each other and are not on speaking terms. At the eternal pillars and the great rock, where people go to seek out the Tribunal and/or Oblivion, the Preordained numbered and sorted the visitors before leading them to her master(s).[1]
When Aiko Maki of the Centum arrived with the Lion of Wolves to seek the Tribunal, the Preordained allowed her to bypass the line due to Aiko's distinguished status as a Centivar, a rank comparable to her own. She brought Aiko to both the Tribunal and Oblivion, as both were present. She warned Aiko not to lie or deceive them and observed from the side.[1]Attributes
