History
After reviewing the Maker's personal files, Doom became aware of the intended life path of himself and his deceased colleagues. He then established Project 4 to facilitate the formation of the Fantastic Four in his reality. This was done to gain an equal in the secret war against the Maker's inner circle. Conducting the experiment in his personal quarters at the Ultimates' headquarters, an black books satellite of Stane/Stark Industries, Doom used laboratory mice exposed to varying doses of cosmic radiation as test subjects.
In September 2024, Iron Lad and Doom had a heated discussion about the project, but their confrontation ended with Doom continuing his work.[1]See Also
