History

Project Glamor was a secret, illegal conspiracy led by General Selbert and Lieutenant Colonel Jody Choate, and authorized by the White House,[1] went on to support the anti-communist guerrillas in Central American Costa Dinora using the proceeds of a drug trafficking operation (officially an anti-drug operation)[2] in Colombia, with bank accounts in both Colombia and Switzerland. The conspiracy also involved the sale of Latverian-produced weapons,[3] a Satanist cult, grey-market arms dealers, murderous mercenaries, and[1] an attempt to produce super-soldier serum at the Freedom Science Studies Institute, California,[2] based on the serum developed years earlier by Dr. Ted Sallis, who had turned Sallis into the monstrous Man-Thing.[4] The FSSI performed unauthorized experiments on human subjects.[1] Project Glamor leaders Selbert[2] and Choate were harassed by the Congress, until Choate decided to confess partially, accepting the whole blame in a televised statement in an attempt to earn sympathies of the public.[5] However, the situation escalated with the investigation of journalist Michael Ditillio,[6] and the desertion of Satanist leader Demon when she obtained control of the Man-Thing.[7]

In the end, Selbert and Choate were both killed, but parts of the conspiracy continued active.[8]
