History
The momentous Project: Rebirth was housed in an innocent-looking small antique shop.[1][2][3][4][5][6] At the same time Captain America was created The Scientists Guild worked on Project: Thunderer.[7]
Trivia
- The antique shop has never been given an official name in the mainstream Marvel Universe, often merely showing the word "Antiques" painted upon the storefront window in large letters. In Now Comics' miniseries Sting of the Green Hornet, however, an homage to Captain America's origin expands upon this, showing the shop's name as Kurtzberg's Antiques, a reference to Cap's co-creator Jack Kirby (nee Jacob Kurtzberg).
