Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-199999)[]

As with Earth-616, Providence is one of Fury's Secret Base, the name coined by Eric Koenig. The base is situated in snowy Canada, protected by an autogun that shoots at anything metal but would grant access to the base if any visitor identifies themselves as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..[1]

The base includes a highly thorough polygraph chair designed by Fury himself, which determines whether or not the individual sitting in it is lying based on 96 different variables. It was designed to be accurate enough that not even Black Widow could beat it, though no evidence exists to indicate that this has actually been tested.[2]

In an attempt to cut a deal for her and Coulson, as well as his team, Maria Hill told the FBI about the location of the base, with the intent of giving them useless intel about it in exchange for leniency. Glenn Talbot of the military soon infiltrated the place, glad to take the stronghold and try to look for anything against S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra.[3]
