History

The Psyklop evolved on Earth millions of years ago, long before Humanity or its ancestors did. They were worshippers of the Dark Gods, but for an unknown reason the Psyklop fell out of favour and were cursed by their gods to sleep forever.

In modern times, the Dark Gods came into need of a power source in order to be summoned into the world. They awoke a single Psyklop and promised to wake the rest if they obtained the power source they needed.

The Psyklop decided to use the Hulk as their power source and shrunk them down into the Microverse, where the Dark Gods reside, but was unable to control them due to the intervention of the Avengers.[1] The Psyklop pursued the Hulk to the microverse planet K'ai, but was quickly rejected by the Dark Gods.[2]

Some time later, a large amount of Psyklop were somehow awakened and began a full assault on K'ai. These Psyklop were notable different, being part of a hive-mind. The K'aitians attempted to summon the Hulk to fight them, but summoned his son Hiro-Kala instead, who easily defeated the Psyklop using the Old Power.[3]
