History
Origins[]
On a prehistoric Earth, the T-Rex Norrannosaurman and his lackeys pursued the weakling Pteranodon Pter Ptarker. Just as Norrannosaurman bit Ptarker, both were hit by a meteorite containing alien spiders. When they awoke, the two found that they switched bodies, which now also were clad in colorful costumes. Norrannosaurman once more attacked Ptarker for the theft of his body, but Ptarker fought off Norrannosaurman and his lackeys with his new Spider-Powers. Now powerful and confident, Ptarker swung away, but the tree branch broke and he fell down, crushing both Norrannosaurman and two innocent dinostanders. Horrified by the result of his recklessness, the Amazing Spider-Rex learned the power of responsibility.[1]
Totem War[]
Pter was later infected by Shathra and joined her Hive. He and the Spider-Biodroid of Earth-9221 were sent to Earth-44145 in order to recruit, or kill, the Spider-Man of that reality, Norman Osborn. Norman's lackey, Spiders-Man briefly slowed the two, buying Norman enough time to send his fragment of the Web of Life and Destiny to Earth-616. Before they could turn Norman and learn this, Norman blew up Oscorp Tower, sacrificing himself.[2] However, Pter survived the explosion and was seen amongst the hive.[3] Like everyone else, he was released from Shathra's control by the combined efforts of other Spiders.[4]
Back Home[]
Pter later returned home where he went on an adventure fighting the villain Kravertooth the Hunter who attempted to kill his uncle Bten and Aunpt May. Fortunately Pter's adopted cousin Jessica watched over May while Bten flew away from Kravertooth. During their battle the 2 pulled off one-liners on one another that quickly got annoying for Pter when Kravertooth's got corny. Pter then crashed into a crowd of dinosaurs including Mary Jane Watsaur, Jingshan Jingshanosaurus, and Eddie Brockiosaurus, in the process Eddie was knocked into a pit of tar and became the villainous Venomosaurus Rex causing Kravertooth to run out of fear.
Spider-Rex vs. Venomosaurus Rex
Venomosaurus Rex attempted to eat Jingshan but when it failed he kidnapped Mary Jane and attempted to get her possessed by the tar that turned him to Venomosaurus. Fortunately Pter managed to save Mary Jane and knock Eddie into the lava killing him, after sharing a kiss with Mary Jane they discovered they had another threat on their hands.[5]
Later Multiversal Adventures[]
Sometime later Pter was recruited in the Spider Society and participated in the chase of Miles Morales.[6]

Spider-Rex in Earth-928B
Back on Earth-66, Spider-Rex found the displaced Peter Porker and Piguel O'Malley. Piguel attacked Pter, not wanting to risk him being evil, but started fighting Peter instead after O'Malley accidently shot a web-net at Porker. Ptarker split them up just in time for Norrannosaurman, now going by Gobblisaurus, to attack them.
In the scuffle, the Time Cube that brough the Spider-Hams to Earth-66 activated and took the four individuals across the Multiverse. They were eventually sent to Earth-8311, Peter Porker's home world, and met with Black Catfish and Mary Jane Waterbuffalo. They were soon found by Green Gobbler-8311 and the Green Gobbler of Earth-93726, Piguel O'Malley's reality. The pair asked Gobblisaurus to join them, who stole back in return. They used the Time Cube to open portals for other variant gobblers to create the Gobbler Army. Luckily, MJ and Catfish had already called the Scavengers for backup. After defeating the army, Pter took Norrannosaurman back to their reality.[7]
Sometime later, Pter would once again be fighting Goblinosaurus and during the battle would accidentally step on Lizard's tail. Pter would defeat Goblinosaurus and (according to Lizzy) apologize for the damage he caused, Lizard to wrapped up in his own pride began to plot against Pter. Lizard would attempt to switch bodies with Pter using the ingredients from the same meteor that turned him into Spider-Rex and luring him in with a note that was supposedly from MJ. When that failed due to a monkey getting in the way, Lizard would later kidnap MJ and turn her into a "hideous hairless monkey". Pter would fight Lizard and realize who he was, he'd keep trying to make the point that Lizard's tale would eventually grow back but Lizard refused to listen blaming Pter for his wife leaving him. Pter would get sick of it and hit Lizard into MJ turning MJ back into her normal form and Lizard into a "hideous hairless monkey", to which Lizard would curse himself and refer to himself as "Curt". Pter would simply state that the tail would eventually grow back.
Sometime after this event, Pter would either be met by Miguel O'Hara of Earth-2099 or Aña Corazon of Earth-616. Whichever the case, he would be invited to join the Spider Society which he would accept along with a load of others. [8]Personality
