Synopsis for "Face Off"

The Board betrayed Kingpin and offered to meet with the Punisher. They decided to meet at Central Park at 2 P.M. The Punisher woke up Vernon and offered to let him abandon the mission, although he chose not to. He planned on killing Kingpin.

Vernon watched over Microchip at Central Park from a rooftop, as the latter met with the Board. Microchip received information on Kingpin's whereabouts from the Board, moments before the teenager was killed by George Tam Wong. The Punisher ordered Vernon to kill George, although he refused to kill a child. At the Las Pulgas Motel, as Frank and Vernon argued, Microchip argued against killing Kingpin.

Meanwhile, George and his uncle were accounting for Kingpin's money inside of his tower. The Punisher, Microchip, and Vernon made plans to strike the Kingpin's tower. Frank insisted that Vernon leave after disabling the cameras.

When a helicopter landed to collect money for the Kingpin, the Punisher and Microchip, who were wearing disguises, stole the helicopter. Vernon entered the tower disguised as an elevator repairman, while Kingpin saw the Punisher land on the rooftop. Microchip deployed gas, shortly before Kingpin grabbed him and threatened to kill him. The Punisher convinced Kingpin that he needed Microchip to help stop the virus. Kingpin spared Microchip's life before defeating the Punisher. Before Kingpin could kill the Punisher, Vernon agreed that they would leave in exchange for sparing his teammate's life. Microchip and Vernon convinced the Punisher not to kill Kingpin. Vernon decided to cut ties with the Punisher and attempt to return to teaching.
