Synopsis for "Mother Russia, Part Four"
Frank Castle continues his defense of the Russian nuclear silo in Suhdek.
Continued from the previous issue...
Russian soldiers had entered the base and rappelled down to the lower levels. When they got further down, they saw that there had been explosives planted, which went off, killing many of them. Meanwhile, Frank and Vanheim were in another room with Galina as they heard the explosives go off. Galina asked Frank if she’s could go to the room with the refrigerator to get some ice cream, but the latter insisted that she stayed where she was while he went to get ice cream. As Frank walked out of the room, there were dismembered corpses of Russian soldiers in the hallway, with their blood on the walls and floors.
Colonel Lugansky, General Zakharov, Major Yeremin, and other officers were discussing the infiltration into their base. Zakharov informed them that the Mongolian would take part in the next assault on Castle at the base. Meanwhile, two man hijacked a plane en route to Moscow and killed anybody who tried to take them down. Back at the base, Frank shot dead more Russian soldiers who attempted to rappel down. Meanwhile, outside the elevator shaft that lead to the lower levels, a captain ordered more men to go down, but a shot they did, they were gunned down as well.
Back at the Generals’ base, Nick Fury had arrived to hear a complaint about Castle killing numerous Russian soldiers at the silo, which he responded that the Russians would be unable to trace Castle and Vanheim back to them and would assume that they are just mercenaries.
Back at the silo, Vanheim was still looking for an exit when Zakharov’s Mongolian associate arrived and kicked him in the face triggering a fight, which the latter won by knocking him to the ground as Galina watched. Meanwhile, the Generals were watching a plane full of people posing as Jihadists make their way to Moscow. At the silo, Frank saw that the Mongolian had knocked Vanheim unconscious and had Galina in husband grasp. Frank and the Mongolian fought briefly until the latter knocked the former unconscious. Zakharov noticed that it had been seventeen minutes and that the Mongolian would have complete his task. Next, he ordered a Lugansky to send his men in and take the intruders prisoner.
