Punt was one of the nations of the First Belt of the Black Kingdoms, along with Kush, Keshan and Darfar.[2]
Punt was bordered by west by Keshan and by east by Zembabwei. The River Styx delineated the southern and western borders by the River Styx.[3] At north and northeast (past the Uplands of Punt),[3] Punt was bordered by either or both the Southern Desert of Shem[4] and/or the Kharamun Desert.[5]

Keshan was the ancient enemy of Punt,[2] while northern raiders invaded Punt to enslave Puntans.[1]
Hyborian Age of Conan[]
King Conan of Aquilonia and Prince Conn crossed into the swamps of southern Punt on their way to Zembabwei in pursuit of Thoth-Amon.[6]

Economy and Major Resources[]
Little is revealed about the economy of Punt.[1] Punt was a famous source of gold,[2] carried off from the the mountains of the tributaries of the River Styx,[1] presumed to be carried off from the hills to the east of Xuchotl.[7] The Puntans gleaned the gold using close-meshed baskets, and washed it. Along gold washing, the Puntans probably combined hunting, collecting and simple agriculture to subsist.[1]
Geography[]
At west and south, the River Styx delineated the border. There, tributaries of the Styx ran from adjacent mountains.[1] Southern Punt harbored swamps.[6]
