I can still barely believe it... I knew he had portal technology, but dimensional genocide... I always thought of him more of a sad clown man figure... 
History
Mysterio had the same history as his Earth-616 counterpart. After Galactus invaded the "Ultimate Universe," Mysterio escaped the reality. Travelling across the Multiverse, he created the Sinister Six and started destroying alternate Earths after taking their Iso-8. One such reality was that of the Gold Goblin. The Six eventually entered Mysterio's native reality, but his nemesis Spider-Man created a resistant that could counter Mysterio. After Dark Mysterio was captured and forced to shut the portals, Mysterio killed himself aboard a Sinister Ship.[1]
