Synopsis for "Blue Moon"
During the recent Inhuman fiasco, the Kree extremists known as the Lunatic Legion invaded Attilan and stole some Terrigen mists. In the present, the Knights of Wundagore prepare to retake Wundagore, but are waiting on Quicksilver. Quicksilver has arrived at Avengers Mansion just in time to join Hawkeye and the Scarlet Witch on a mission to the Moon, where the Lunatic Legion has taken the Avenger known as Warbird. Despite not being an Avenger, Quicksilver comes along to help, even teleporting everyone to the Moon with Lockjaw.
Lockjaw teleports everyone directly in front of the Supreme Intelligence, who fills them in on the Lunatic Legion's plan. They Lunatic Legion is going to use an Omni-Wave Projector combined with the Terrigen Mists to send a wave to Earth that will turn all pure-blooded humans into Kree and kill any mutants or superhumans. The reason they need Warbird was to calibrate the Omni-Wave Projector with her half-human, half-Kree DNA, and the heroes will need to take the Terrigen Mists and destroy the Omni-Wave Projector or its generator to save the human race. Quicksilver asks why the Supreme Intelligence is telling them this, but the Supreme Intelligence states that it doesn't matter, as the heroes have work to do.
Quicksilver rushes off to save Warbird, who is suffering the effects of alcohol withdrawal. He tells her to stay behind due to her weakened state, but Warbird refuses to be belittled. As soon as Quicksilver leaves to help the others, Warbird drinks some liquid that she thinks is Kree alcohol and powers up. Meanwhile, Quicksilver, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and Lockjaw are able to steal the Terrigen Mists and get close to the generator. Before they can shut it down, however, a drunken Warbird flies in. While she is able to destroy the generator, she also injures Lockjaw and nearly blows everyone into the vacuum of space. Lockjaw then takes the Avengers home, but the Lunatic Legion are more than ready to give their lives to power the Omni-Wave Projector without the generator.
