History

Ramona Jones (Earth-TRN1096) from Avengers Twilight Vol 1 2 003

Bullseye hesitates

Ramona Jones was a special military agent whose lethal skills as a high precision shooter earned her a place in the Thunderbolts Troops under the codename Bullseye. By serving a government where superhuman vigilantism had been tarnished by public opinion, the Thunderbolts were in charge of obscure missions aimed at the maintenance of a surveillance state policed by S.H.I.E.L.D. through the Watcher Act. In this regime, the interests of conglomerates were absolute over the freedom of people, who lived under the false illusion of liberty. At some point, the Thunderbolts were assigned to deal with the resurgence of the star-spangled super hero and freedom fighter Captain America. Bullseye expressed loyalty in this assignment despite Captain America being seen as an honorable hero by some. As the outlaw vigilantes known as the Defenders attempted to seize control over communication services at Times Square during New Year's Eve, the Thunderbolts were ready to intercept them. During the mission, however, Bullseye found herself unable to follow her orders and missed shots on purpose, sabotaging the Thunderbolts, which culminated in Captain America and the Defenders escaping.[1]
