History

Ranger is one of several animal test subjects evolved by a collection of robots. Ranger later joined with other test subjects in a rebellion against their machine overlords. The rebellion's leader, Pyko, used the robots' technology to evolve Ranger into an even more dangerous soldier, but Ranger's younger brother, Rocket, de-evolved Ranger, his mother and sister, Pyko, and the other rebels back to their original state.
