History

Raza was the leader of the terrorist group the Ten Rings. He and his group detained Tony Stark in an effort to make him construct a Jericho Missile from stolen Stark Industries weapons that had previously been sold to the Middle East. His face was badly burnt when Tony Stark laid waste to the Ten Rings' encampment as he escaped in a prototype suit of powered armor.

Raza later met with Obadiah Stane, revealed to be who asked for Tony's kidnapping and failed assassination, to negotiate over Stark's abandoned armor in exchange for an army of armoured soldiers. Stane had no intention of striking a deal however, and paralyzed him before having the militants killed.
