Raze Darkholme (Earth-13729)

History

Raze is the son of Wolverine and Mystique. He was first seen impersonating Katherine Pryde in order to get close to Wolverine and strike him. This was supposed to leave him unable to help the X-Men defend the Jean Grey School of Higher Learning from the Future "X-Men".^[3]

It was revealed that he had murdered his mother, Mystique, and replaced her in his timeline.^[6] Raze and Charles Xavier were the only members on the Future Brotherhood that weren't mind controlled into being a part of the team by Xavier.^[8]

Later, he was the mastermind of a plan to remove the entire human population of the Earth and bring in all the persecuted mutants from the Multiverse into this timeline to create a mutant paradise, a plan that was later reversed by an alternate universe Phoenix.^[7]

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Seemingly those of his parents, Wolverine and Mystique. According to Kymera, Raze's shape-shifting powers are even stronger than Mystique's.^[1]

Trivia

• Raze is at least one year younger than his half-brother Charles Xavier II.^[8]
