The Red Dot Collective is a criminal organization led by Red Dot whose members consist entirely of Cyborgs. After Red Dot's death, the Collective is now led by Red Cannon, with the goal of helping the Five Weapons Society.
History
The Red Dot Collective was hired by Iron Man to test Shang-Chi's commitment to the superhero community after he assumed leadership of the Five Weapons Society. Per Stark's instructions, Red Dot and two of his henchmen attempted to sell the "stolen" Silver Centurion Armor to Shang-Chi at the House of the Deadly Hand, but were defeated and captured. The Collective escaped by activating the Armor as a distraction and were later thanked by Iron Man. Unbeknownst to Stark, the Collective was later recruited by Chieftain Xin to destroy Shang-Chi and the Five Weapons Society.[1] The Collective, along with King Wild Man's Gang, the Iron Eighty-Eight and Sister Staff attacked the House of the Deadly Hand, but were betrayed by Sister Staff and defeated by the Society. However, the Collective and its allies were able to escape by taking Jiang Li hostage.[2][3]
When Shang-Chi defeated Xin with the Ten Rings, which revealed their existence to the public, the Red Dot Collective joined forces with Hydra, A.I.M., The Hand, and Inner Demons in raiding the House of the Deadly Hand for the Rings. The raid ended in failure when Red Dot was killed while attempting to put on the sentient Rings, which Shang-Chi donned to drive off the remaining Collective members and their allies from the House.[4]
Following Red Dot's death, Red Cannon became the new leader of the Collective.[5] However, Red Cannon was revealed to be Zheng Shi-Hua, who wanted to use the organization to do what Shang-Chi Society would not and to eliminate any threats to her brother.[6]See Also
