Allow me to introduce you to one of the most-travelled of mankind's enemies! It has been called by many names--the pox... plague... pestilence--but I prefer the Red Death!
History
The Red Dust of Death (or Decay) was a mutated bacterial dust[9] all the Carrions used as weapon.[6][4][10][1]
The third Carrion, Dr. William Allen, used it to make other humans more susceptible to his low-level telepathy, allowing him to control them.[10][1]Properties
The Red Dust can cause a choking death,[6] pain,[11] or unconsciousness.[12] Sometimes it also demonstrates acidic[2] and flesh-eating properties.[9]
Notes
- Originally, the third Carrion was able to control other human beings by infecting them with the Carrion Virus.[10] The mind control was later attributed to his use of telepathy in conjunction with the Red Dust.[1]
