History
The seventh Red Guardian, Anton was a member of the Winter Guard. Anton claimed to be an engineer and one of the original Crimson Dynamo pilots. He eventually transferred his mind to an Life Model Decoy in order to be stronger than a human.[2]
The Winter Guard and War Machine helped defend Russia during the Skrull Invasion.[3]
When the Protectorate returned to Earth, they revealed that long-time member Fantasia was actually a Dire Wraith all along. They went to the former Winter Guard base, where she was waiting. While they were hiding in the building, Anton attempted to create a plan, but was decapitated by a Dire Wraith. His head was kept in storage, seemingly still alive, by Galina Nemirovsky, planning to use him to destroy the Winter Guard.[4]Attributes

Trivia
- Anton has a counterpart in the Marvel Cinematic Universe known as Anton Ivanov, who was similarly a Russian agent who became a Life-Model-Decoy after his head was decapitated.
