History

The seventh Red Guardian, Anton was a member of the Winter Guard. Anton claimed to be an engineer and one of the original Crimson Dynamo pilots.

The Winter Guard and War Machine helped defend Russia during the Skrull Invasion.

Anton was later revealed to be a Life Model Decoy. He was decapitated by a Dire Wraith, his head was kept in storage, seemingly still alive.

Trivia

• Anton has a counterpart in the Marvel Cinematic Universe known as Anton Ivanov, who was similarly a Russian agent who became a Life-Model-Decoy after his head was decapitated.
