That smell -- of a burning oil-based product! The unwinged human --! He has set a fire!
- —Para-Man (Ree-Zee)
History
Ree-Zee was created by a bumbling scientist named Boswell. He's stumbled upon artificial intelligence and almost accidentally gave Ree-Zee life. Ree-Zee kept demanding newer additions and alterations to his body and he told Boswell how to perform the techniques. After he was complete he made Boswell his cleaning-boy, making him sweep the floor and also collect insects from the yard.[citation needed]
One day, Boswell collected Ant-Man (Hank Pym) and Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), who were stuck in their shrunken forms. The two escaped and Ant-Man had to set the house on fire in order to escape from the place, causing Ree-Zee, who demanded to be called "Para-Man" (because he was better than mankind) to get caught in an explosion which destroyed every part of his body except his head, which still functioned and demanded Boswell to reconstruct him.[citation needed]Attributes
