History

Reed Richards was a member of the Fantastic Four alongside his friend, Ben Grimm. When his body was destroyed, in the attack that also killed Ben, he made himself a new robot body which mimicked Ben's. Reed went underground, but emerged decades later when he became a mentor to the hero known as "Mutant 2099".
