History

Reed Richards convinced his girlfriend, Susan Storm, his best friend, Ben Grimm, and Susan's younger brother, Johnny, to go on a space trip ahead of the official launch. Despite warnings from colleague and partner Alyssa Moy about the danger of cosmic rays, the group set off anyway and reached an orbital position, but it was then that they were hit by an anomalous storm of cosmic rays. Returning to Earth, thanks to remote piloting by Alyssa, they crashed upon arrival at the ground. When they exited the dropship, they found that cosmic radiation had completely altered their persona, with Reed finding himself to have an extremely elastic body.
