When Clerk Psylocke struck Bishop with her psionic blade, he recalled that Cyclops tried to stop a fight between himself and Gambit.

Gambit was one of the X-Men who sacrificed themselves for what came to be called the Resolution. A picture of Remy hung in Madison Jeffries' history class at the Summers Institute for Higher Learning.
