History

Gambit's history was presumably similar to their Old Man Logan timeline. After being killed by Wolverine, Gambit returned as a zombie and was one of the X-Men who attacked Wolverine. This reality was shown as an illusion to Old Man Logan by a Brood-infected Jean Grey.
