Synopsis

Revolution was a event published in 2000 centered on a six months time jump forward in the mutant-centered books of the time. It also highlighted changes in creative teams across the line, most visibly the return of Chris Claremont to writing both Uncanny X-Men and adjectiveless X-Men (Vol. 2).

Several characters had gone through significant changes in the meantime, and explaining how those came to be figured into the plots of most books.

Also part of the event was the soft rebranding of three books (X-Man, X-Force and Generation X) into a pseudo-imprint of their own, slightly removed from other mutant-centered books and initially helmed by Warren Ellis.
