Rick Jones seemingly had a similar history as his Earth-616 counterpart.

Birth of Hulk

Rick and Hulk

Rick wandered onto the testing area of the Gamma Bomb. He was spotted by the lead scientist, Bruce Banner, who was able to throw Jones into a protective trench before the bomb was detonated. Bruce; however, was unable to get to safety and was hit by the gamma radiation, turning him into the Hulk. Feeling he owed Bruce a life debt, he became Bruce and Hulk's constant compatriot.

Double Lives

After learning that Banner was needed back at the Los Diablos Missile Base, Jones tricked Hulk into returning home and transforming back into Banner. He then dropped him off at the base. He was later approached by Lois Lane, who figured out he was friends with the Hulk, causing Rick to immediately drive off.

The next day, Rick caught word that the Hulk had kidnapped Bruce's love intrest, Betty Ross, and picked up Bruce. He pitched strategies on for Bruce to turn into Hulk, stranding Rick as Hulk's leap broke one of his wheels. Rick watched as the base used the Gamma Ray Projector on Hulk and Hulk ended up destroying it. He became disheartened thinking he may not have survived the blast, only for Bruce to emerge from the emergency access tunnel behind him.[1]

Seemingly those of the Rick Jones of Earth-616
