Nova shared a similar history to Earth-616 counterpart[1] Nova attended the roast of the Fantastic Four where he volunteered his assistance in helping the F.F. alongside the New Champions. However, at this point Nova had lost his powers and had his friends dress up as fakes.[2] After his series was cancelled he went to the "Marvel Comics Unemployment Office Character Division" to see if he had a new series yet, and found a note left by the new Nova Frankie Raye and left in a rage.[3] After spending time in space he returned to earth with his powers and Frankie Raye in his apartment, who informed him of her recent death and she said there could only be one Nova in the Marvel Universe and disappeared.[4]
