The Rippers is one of the New Orleans warring Guilds. Gambit kidnapped Rogue of the X-Men in an attempt to manipulate her into helping him rescue his adoptive father Jean-Luc LeBeau the leader of the Thieves Guild after he was kidnapped by the Rippers the Assassins Guild.
